My version of the unnamed red-faced pup from Balto 2: Wolf Quest. Originally called Kanguq, Baron quickly established himself as something of a leader of his siblings and these attributes allowed him to become the next champion sled dog of Nome. He can be overbearing at times, particularly where his brother, Kodiak, is concerned, as Baron is fond of gently ribbing him for being a simple mail dog. Nevertheless, he has a reputation for being a professional, caring lead dog and longs for the opportunity to prove his hometown's faith in him once and for all.

Named for the Red Baron aka Manfred von Richthofen, a German fighter ace during World War I. (Baron)
