Murdd Hoksu was contracted to stalk and assassinate members of the Hub World Council who were deemed threats to the Vanguard's goals and who would most likely not be in the senate building during the Vanguard’s Clean Slate operation.
She has since had a change of heart, even apologizing to Khaira and Z'wen, and following the trails left by the mysterious benefactor and the creation of the High Vanguard.
