The Broadcaster is a larger creature that takes residence inside the facility. It uses the radio in its head to connect to the crews walkie-talkies and send through the screams recorded from your teammates. The purpose is unknown, but it tricks the crew to think that one of them is dead or in danger. Potentially this is used to cause the team to get more frantic, and become lost making hunting easier. Or this could be so that the people its hunting run into it themselves rather than it needing to hunt them down. It uses the connection of your walkies like a guide to find you, if you have a walkie on you it will ALWAYS know where you are.
The Broadcaster's saliva is this radioactive looking, battery acid like goop. Even though it has such long claws, it prefers to attack using its large teeth. This may be due to its eroding saliva. The Broadcaster runs on all fours like a gorilla, but can stand tall on its hind legs. When near, walkie-talkie static and beeps can be heard from it, along with screams.
The Broadcaster can spawn on all maps and facility layouts. It runs between the players walking and run speed. Its faster than walk speed, but slower than run speed. It primarily uses you walking into it as an opportunity to attack, hiding behind or in corners, and always stalking near. Quick reaction time is key to getting away once its found.
The Broadcaster completely destroys team communication. You either have to drop your walkies and go without long distance communication, or let it know your constant position.
Remember, it always has a leg up from you.
