Fledgling

Fledgling is a monitor assistant trying to work her way up to becoming a full monitor herself. She was forced encouraged by the people in her environment to pursue the job, seeing potential in her. Fledgling wears her bleeding heart on her sleeve and is not afraid to step up when she dislikes something, easily throwing a tantrum if things don't go her way, though never getting angry at another person. Though when she does like or approve of something, the best she can do is a smile and a nod.

Fledgling has been raised to heavily dislike mages and makes that very known. From cursing out mages and magic when something goes wrong, all the way to ratting out mages to the nobles, she wants nothing more but to get rid of that scum. At least... that's what it seems like. Deep down she doesn't actually dislike mages, she's just too afraid of the consequences to express it. After all, a family who so heavily hates mages surely wouldn't accept a mage-forgiving daughter. Same with her monitor boss, if she found out about Fledglings true opinions Fledgling would certainly get fired.

She lives a deeply unhappy life, wanting nothing more than to escape the reality she's being forced to live. Fledglings ultimate goal is to work her way up the social ladder to gain too much influence to be cast out. Only when she's powerful, she's safe, and she'll do anything to get into such a position of power.
