kaida is a pokemon trainer of dragon types! her goal is to be the strongest trainer of kitakami, her home region

she's childhood friends and now partners with nozomi and they venture off together with naranja academy's treasure hunt

a secret cult/tightly binded organization of paldea called team atras has the goal of devolving pokemon into their original state, they may strike unknowing pokemon to spread their influence. 

kaida's partner, her hakamo-o (now jangmo-o) suffered from this attack. it not only stunted her goal of being the strongest trainer but it is also quite cruel and deeply weakens a pokemon

kaida and nozomi work together to find out the root of the organization and put an end to it to reduce further harm to pokemon
