Cinegress' small size makes it a good companion, often clinging on its trainer's shoulder or various accessories/tools. Its tail has the ability to burn away and grow back as long as Cinegress is fed with oil rich food. Because of this, it is often used as a lantern at night patrols and a protector from nocturnal Pokemon.
