Mort is Ryz' assigned case partner for the NAW (Nonhuman Activities Watch), going into the city to locate potential escaped specimens from Chimera CO and help integrate them into the city. He's soft, gentle, but always looks like he has the cold, and gets nervous really fast. He can blabber on and on with no fixed subject and then stutters and forgets how to speak if he goes on for too long. He seems to have admiration for his case partner.
APPEARANCE
Tall, middle aged caucasian male. Always has his hair down. Distinguishing features: a scar across the middle of his face, several across his chest by some unknown creature. Is not seen without his dark grey trenhcoat. Affinity for ties and loose bow ties. Prefers muted colors and dark hues. No tattooes. No piercings.

PRE-CHIMERA.
He grew up in a traditional household, with parents who had no plans for him. The basis of his name was due to seasonal and situational circumstances: He was born in the winter like all his previous kin, and was born when someone drowned. Hence, Mortamor Winter. He was not genuinely loved.
Once he reached adulthood, Mort had accepted himself as a gay man, but his family had condemned him. He carried himself through college, and eventually was able to find something in the scientific field, which he had always had a passion for. He was discovered by The Founder of Chimera, and began working there.
INTER-CHIMERA.
While employed by Chimera, his role involved the application of various selective genetics, mutations, and others via a black substance filled vial, exclusive to only Chimera Co. He had plenty of willing human trials to undergo these changes to fufill Chimera Co innovations. His own participation ended when Chimera Co closed due to an unfortunate incident that gave him amnesia, and therefore, has no full recollection of his role, or what caused the incident.
POST-CHIMERA.
He currently works at the Nonhuman Activities Watch, a division in Cell City that locates missing, hiding, or otherwise unaccounted specimen from the defunct Chimera CO. His role in particular offers a friendly approach, and gives them care and resources to acclimate themselves to the city. He often goes on case runs with his monster partner, Ryz. Outside of his work, he lives in a comfortable loft in the golgi district of the city. He hasn't made any contact with his family since he got outcasted, and doesn't plan to.
RYZcoworker
His case partner, and source of inspiration, admiration, his muse. He's delighted to be with someone who knows what its like to have a gap in memories. Ryz lets him talk and talk without judgement...
Mr. Nortonboss
He respects his boss for giving him a brand new start. He does find Mr. Norton's cunning behavior a bit unnerving for his tastes, but otherwise finds him endearing enough.
Rupertcoworker
They get along quite well, showing a shared interest in japanese animated shows and illustrations. He's greatful for finally knowing what it's like to have a friend who also indulges in the sciences, tho Rupert's ways are a little oldschool.
