Last of their kind, Micah roams the cold expanse of space alone, unable and unwilling to escape the destiny assigned to them from birth. Long ago, Micah's ancestors made a pact with the earth-dwellers: so long as the earth dwellers worshipped their race, in return, they would ensure that all the stars shone brightly at night and would be gone by morning. Doing this earned Micah's race the title of Star Dancers, or Danseurs D'Etoiles. For as long as Micah could remember, they worked together with friends and family to ensure every star was placed perfectly before the sun went down, giving the earth-dwellers a picture-perfect night.
A sudden and tragic plague, alien in origin, is what wiped out all of Micah's kin. They were the only survivor - somehow immune to whatever disease had infiltrated their bodies. Micah grieved for a long time - centuries passed on earth without any stars in the sky. The earth-dwellers though, ever faithful creatures, never gave up. They continued to worship Micah, offering food and treasures to the lone Star Dancer. Micah, seeing this devotion, decided to take on the task of placing the stars alone.
- All of Micah's race is genderless/nonbinary! They reproduced asexually. Micah, however, has never w\felt willing/able to introduce another being into the world, in fear of the plague striking them down too.
- Micah's horn is the most sensitive part on their body, and it hurts really bad when they bang it
- Previous Star Dancers came in all sorts of colours, although Micah's was unique
- Micah isn't sure how their race came to Earth, and hopes with all their heart that other Star Dancers exist somewhere out in space
- Before the plague, Micah had never witnessed the death of any kin before - they were believed to be immortal
- Micah was born on the spring equinox, therefore their birthday varies year from year
- Micah experiences romantic, emotional and physical attraction, but not sexual
