DETACHED ABRASIVE SOLEMN
Morelpaw is a reclusive, eternally-tired apprentice. He tends to shut himself off from strangers, in fear of how they will react to his odd nature. On the positive side however, he is very attentive and intelligent, displaying a strong dedication to his interests and hobbies.

Morelpaw puts his heart into his work as a healer, to the point where it's hard to get him to talk about anything that isn't plants.

HEALING

Morelpaw is gifted at healing, having learnt a lot in the years that he spent alone with Fenwither. He still has room for improvement, but his proficiency is nothing to scoff at.

SPIRIT LINK

Although he is good at healing, Morelpaw's true speciality is being a seer. Ever since he was a kit, he has been able to see spirits and connect to the afterlife regularly. He often wonders what his visions mean.

In order to maintain his stock of herbs, Morelpaw has learnt the basics of cultivating a sort of garden through trial and error.

CHAPTER 1

Morelpaw, then just Morel, was born to unknown parents. He cannot remember much of where he came from or why he was abandoned, but he does remember Fenwither finding him. Fenwither was interested in Morel's unusual powers and, despite Fenwither's disdain for children, thought it would be best to keep Morel around.

CHAPTER 2

One day, the two travellers came upon the 'fog territories'. Morel seemed drawn to the area, and the pair soon found themselves in TempestClan territory. They were found by a patrol who took them to the camp, where the leader Thymestar offered them places in the clan. Fenwither accepted and Morel, renamed Morelpaw, immediately began an apprenticeship under Barelands due to his healing talents.
FAVOURITE LOCATIONS

HEALERS' DEN

Morelpaw feels at home in the quiet of the healers' den - especially when there are no cats in it.

TRIVIA

  • He has his own small area in the den that he fills with herbs, feathers, mushrooms and other trinkets.
  • Morelpaw keeps a pet snail that lives in the den.

HERB GARDEN

Although he spends a lot of time in the healers' den, Morelpaw's true favourite place is his herb garden. It is one of the only places where he knows he won't be disturbed by anyone else, as only he knows its location.

Although Morelpaw is grateful to Fenwither for looking after him, over the time he's been in the older cat's care, Morelpaw can't help but feel uneasy. For as long as Morelpaw has known him, Fenwither has had a mysterious air about him, as if he has some kind of motive that Morelpaw isn't privy to. Fenwither in actuality only sees him as a means to an end, but Morelpaw doesn't know this.
