The Leboneyfederal republic of lebeny: name for germany in this world, lorita’s family ran because gov leaning toward becoming a dictatorship and oppressive laws etc (her father was smart with this kind of stuff so knew to leave early when it started to get worse)
lorita, top ranking general in all of tlalli. the island known for being peaceful and gorgeous and the island that oversees gaia, an island that's not too far away (the royals, related). lorita was friends with the princesa guadalupe as a child, very close friends. they did everything together, even if it was stupid. they went on little adventures through the jungle on the small island. lorita's father (alaric bauer) at the time was the top general, he was kind and good friends with the king which is how lorita and guadalupe's friendship sprouted. general bauer was kind and loved lorita with all his heart. he would take lorita and guadalupe where ever they wished just to make sure they were safe wherever they went. lorita and guadalupe only got closer, they started to call eachother lulu and lori. lori had it good as a kid, her father was pretty wealthy from being such a praised general so she was never without. she usually stayed in the castle in a room next to lulu since her father was always working in the castle anyways.
one day, lorita was sound asleep when she heard a gun shot from lulu's room. her heart raced and she jumped out of bed to see what'd happened. she peaked into the room, the door wide open. inside laid her father bleeding out from his chest, lulu holding his lifeless body, screaming and crying for lori's dead father.
lori, scared, doesn't talk. not for months. she sobbed at the funeral, but that would be the last time she cries. then, she was off to training camp to become a soldier. to make her father proud. she trained rigorously, gaining a scar on her nose from training with the other kids who she learned to despise. while there, though, she met marcus who she would appoint to be lulu's personal guard in the future. those four years away of hard work paid off, though, because when she returned she quickly climbed the ranks until she was the top ranked general, just like her father. she ordered lulu, or now she would call guadalupe to keep everything professional, to be kept away. to keep her safe from what happened to her father from slipping and happening to guadalupe... or her.
- lorita has a secret wyvern named nuri that she can't tell anyone else about because wyvern are specifically for the royals
- she has a friend named ardash who is the main mechanic for tlalli and makes new guns, ships, and bullets
- lorita is very protective, mainly of guadalupe and ardash
- lorita never gives anything to guadalupe for he birthday until later in the story and early before her father's death, but she always gets her something. lorita just chickens out actually giving it to her
- guadalupe always gets and gives lorita a gift for lori's birthday
- secretly lorita called guadalupe lulu in her head

lorita and guadalupe's friendship changes a lot through their story but in the end, lorita and guadalupe are good friends. lorita and guadalupe have a lot of shared trauma and memories together. in the end, could anyone really split them up?
this kid is kind of an anomaly, he makes every piece of machinery for the island of tlalli (of which they also gift to gaia). he likes to mess around with lorita and his goal is to be as good of a sharp shooter as she is, though she doesn't allow him to fight.
