Allocer (BG3)

Allocer was born into a secretive and reclusive clan of tieflings, those who rejected the archdevil Mephistopheles and went into hiding, worshipping their own higher power in an near-fanatic fashion.
As a child, Allocer did not keep many friends nor companions, and stayed close to his mother, whom protectively shielded him from both outsider and tiefling alike. She made him study multiple magical principles and defenses, and he became knowledgeable in several fields of the arcane. 

Allocer was chosen as a newborn to fulfill a specific purpose, that being to usher and host the clan's new god. Though as he grew older, the concept terrified him, and he couldn't bear to ascend to godhood. He attempted to flee under the cloak of night as a young teen, though his mother took notice, and fought to keep him in her clutches, causing her to injure and maim his son in a desperate attempt to return him to her. He managed to escape, though his face burnt by magicks and his connection to godhood weighing heavily on his body. 

Allocer now wanders as an elusive and mysterious bard, performing sonnets and melodies for any who care to listen. Throughout the years, he familiarized himself with outside music, culture and environs, and was captivated by the beauty of both the collective of humanity, and the mere prospect of living freely.  Nobody exactly knows where he came from, but he amuses himself with others curiosity.
