The family included her older siblings, Velouté, Bisque, and her younger sibling, Soupsy. Tensions between her parents erupted into a divorce. Resulting in her father gaining custody of all four children, and Maehwa vanishing. Losing her mother at a young age marked Broth deeply, robbing her of the guiding hand that taught her kindness and compassion.
