sun looks so cool i love the little sun moon dangly things on her hat!! also is her father helious like helios the ancient greek titan of the sun? her colours and patterns kinda remind me of like the night sky especially with that star belt and the scarf(?) on her shoulder and that's such a vibe. Helios is not like a god or anything I did name him after the greek guy though :3 he's the father of the church and the mayor of the city they live in

the reason why she has so much star sun and moon stuff is cause they whorship the sun

she is kinda oldish cause the world is steampunk

the religion!! do they also worship the moon with the sun? I think that like the worshipping the sun is an interesting idea; kinda reminds me of the Egyptian Ra. is this like a widespread practice in the world or like just the city they live in?

The moon is more like an evil i suppose its closer to humans darker and like the only light of it is the light it reflects form the sun (if that makes sense) cause yknow how lucifer in christianity was once an angle its like that but with the moon and its also a way to reflect helios's backstory :3 (wink wink)

and ermm.... i dunno... its probably wide spread but probably not the only religion since their city (named klance btw) is an island

so is the moon sun thing kinda like they're both required? like a balance is needed but at the same time that darkness comes from light, with the necessary sin idea like kinda the fact the only way it can be dark if there's a light somewhere as well; like the moon is a reflection this is such a large brained idea

helios's backstory reflects like the moon reflects sunlight? i am going to be thinking of what this means for the foreseeable future
