PROFILE
Kaede is the youngest of three children between two onis. She's the only one who is red in appearance compared to her two older brothers, who are both blue. While for most of her life she had to live in secrecy because of who she was, eventually Kaede and her brothers were capable of keeping their oni identities in secrecy as their shapeshifting abilities to appear human works like a charm.
PERSONALITY
Kaede appears to be a very bold type of girl, and you'd be correct about that. She's feared by people, and it's not because of her appearance. It's the type of person to want to stick out ofthe crowd, whether it be its loud, aggressive manners, or because of particular fashion that screams out of the ordinary (not anything risque, she has standards). Its rowdy actions often bring fear to those above it or those who would rather not mess with it. She wants to make her name out there, wanting to be known and infamous for her brutish actions and demeanor.
Despite being this figure to be scared of, Kaede does indeed have a heart. To those who she sees that are struggling because of the world around them, she gives them an extra hand or a boost. Kaede's soft spot for the ones who struggle and giving them a chance to prove themselves without any confines are why people look up to it. She puts others before herself at times, whether it be giving food to her fellow followers or sharing something to others. Kaede can be gentle and nice when it sees you at the same level it is or it's fond of you.

RELATIONSHIPS
Partner
Kaede and Yuuki first met while Kaede was causing ruckus around the Shinjuku streets. Though Yuuki initially saw Kaede as nothing but a ruckus at a first glance, Kaede took inerest in the barista once his attempt to get it and its followers to bug off somewhere else. After their first encounter, Kaede soon eventually figured out Yuuki's routines to personally bug them herself. After getting used to Kaede's antics, Yuuki found herself enjoying the menace itself, even joining in on some of its ruckuses across the several districts of Tokyo. It took a long time before the two revealed their own secrets (Kaede being an oni and Yuuki being a phantom thief), and it was whe they. shared their skeletons in their closets that they both gt close to one another. Kaede was the first one to reveal her feelings to Yuuki on top of the roof of the café Yuuki works at, which he reciprocated his feelings to her.
A Nuisance
Kaede is aware of the police detective after a few rounds of doing several of its antics across Tokyo and getting several of its fellow folks who look up to it. She's wanted by the police for her disruptive behavior, which is how Kakuro knows of the rebellious girl. Kaede is always annoyed at the dectectives presence, always leaving or escaping his grasp when he arries at the scene.
Acquaintance
Kaede only knows Addison due to his association with Yuuki. She finds him to be quite an individual whenever she's in conversations with him. It can also see Addison's resistance in his job to kill Yuuki, giving slight pity to the man, understanding that hehas morals of his own and that he's confined in whatever job he has going on.
DESIGN
- Left is her actual form (oni), right is her disguised human form
- Scelera when it's an oni is black (I made it not pure black on the ref but when I draw it, it'll prolly be pure black), white on its human appearance
- Kaede is AMAB, she does not have any post surgery scars and does not plan on it. She's also very muscular, DO NOT DRAW HER THIN OR WITHOUT MUSCLES. If you cannot draw muscles, then I can help out!!

TRIVIA
- Kaede is a red oni, a Japanese youkai who are known as monsterous ogres in Japanese folklore. Their stories are toldto children to scare them to behave, less they want to be a child of an oni.
- Kaede only knows Japanese, and a little bit of English thanks to common slang terms.
- Its choice of weapon is the kanabou club, which is a common weapon used by oni's.
- It never terrorizes ramen shops
- He can be charismatic if he wanted to, but only does it if he's really interested in someone
