Odette

Odette is an aloof individual, who prefers to be left alone- instead of chit-chatting with random dragons. She's a critical thinker, who prefers to come up with realistic solutions, instead of being positive & hopeful. Odette also considers the world as a rather harsh place, where surviving without having a backbone is impossible. 

Odette's hatching day was the coldest day on Cresula. Her parents did her best to warm up her scales- terrified on her dying of hypothermia, yet to their surprise Odette never warmed up. Her frosted scales cursed to stay on her body. 

While growing up, Odette had always overheard her parents' secret conversations- which she obviously was not meant to have heard. The times she heard them call her scales a curse, which made them too afraid of having another dragonet- those times hurt, they hurt more than her trying to burn down her scales to smithereens. 

Yet, on one cold day- where the snow on the ground mirrored the bright sunrays like crystals as she was taking her usual lonely walk, a snowy owl flew over her head. The bird's wings sliced the air in grace, nearly having touched Odette's horns, but not in the way for it to be considered as clumsy. The creature left two feathers on the ground as a parting gift- or was it just being clumsy? Odette would never know, but in a weird way, this made her hate her 'curse' just a little less... just a little enough to make her believe that maybe, just maybe, this 'curse' was actually a blessing...
