Her full and maiden name is Jennifer Granger.

Her twin sister, Penny, forced Jenny to come to work with her so she could learn ‘actual skills’ even though Jenny wasn’t getting paid.
Jenny moved to Riverview after running away from Sunset Valley, the town where her parents made her move with her twin sister to start a new life. After a few months living there she started to realise her life wasn’t her own and was never going to be if she kept listening to her parents. So she took after her older brother and ran away, which was the biggest and most riskiest choice she ever made.
Her well mannered and polite nature is a by product of her strict upbringing.
She is commonly compared to a rabbit, both in appearance and behaviour.
People find her really endearing, like a sad kitten, this is the only reason why she is successful socially.
She has Nyctophobia, she has always been afraid of the dark, but she's gotten a lot better about it with each year.
Even though they didn’t have a proper wedding, when they got home Jenny wore a long vintage dress she found from work as a wedding dress and had a pretend ceremony between her and Hunter.
A huge reason why she adores and values her family so much is due to not having an amazing family growing up, she wants to correct those wrongs and make sure history doesn’t repeat itself.
She cuts all her children’s hair for them. (Specially Matilda, who will chew on her hair if it isn’t short)

Hunter Cottoneye

Hunter and Jenny are the most oddest couple that strangely works, to the surprise of the entire town. If Jenny was a anxious cat who could have a heart attack at any second, Hunter was a paranoid cat whose just as scared of everyone but would bite before running.
Truly though, the two even interacting was a miracle of its own, it being one of Jenny’s biggest ‘facing of her fears’ she’s ever done: Talking to the most scariest and hated man in town.
After a few attempts to get on good terms, Jenny started to call Hunter everyday to check in on him and ask how his day was. Hunter wasn’t sure how to even handle the situation for a good while, he’d purposely ignore her calls some days. But overtime he grew guilty and began picking up every time, only to find that he enjoyed the small conversations between them more then he wanted to admit.
Calls eventually turned into house visits which were super awkward for them both for a long time, Jenny would make him pancakes and they’d just talk before he either left or pass out on her couch and leave the next morning. After some stressful conversations and panic attacks on both sides, one thing lead to another and they became a couple. In those two years the loyalty and love the two felt only grew stronger till they were practically inseparable so much that Jenny agreed to move into his tower as she didn’t find anything wrong living in isolation with the person she loved. (Both of them being huge introverted people also helped the situation)
They would live out their lives together one their own spot of land, basking in one another presence every chance they got till they both needed alone time apart.
Eventually the lock in the dedication and show how serious he was, Hunter proposed to Jenny after a long time of it seeming as if it’d never happen but only got a marriage license due to neither of them wanting a huge event. (They had their own ceremony at home instead.)
They’d later have a surprise of triplets after only expecting one child…and their lives together continued off from there.

Matilda Cottoneye

Matilda is the first triplet of Jenny’s…and the most ‘excitable’.
Despite being a absolute copy of her own mother, Matilda was the opposite to her in every way which made her very challenging to raise for Jenny. Even though her and Matilda were very different people and almost had nothing in common, Jenny loved her all the same and would support Matilda in all of her endeavours.
When she was a child, she’d take her to the elixir store down the street and watch her enthusiastically ask the clerk about any and everything. Though collecting dangerous animals was off the table, she did allow her to bring back a chinchilla and loves her for her ‘adventurous’ nature that followed Matilda into her teenage years.

Merritt Cottoneye

Merritt is the second triplet of Jenny’s and the one who she has a considerable ‘difficult’ relationship with. Ever since Merritt started becoming a author as a child, Jenny was her number one supporter who’d always check to see what she was writing and purchase everything she got published. Merritt did however struggle to communicate with her mother although her life, due to the jealousy of not looking as pretty as her or her sister and not being as easily popular like Matilda.
Jenny always tried to open up healthy communication between her and Merritt but by the time she reached her teens Merritt went from claiming mum’s word was law to being a rebellious goth. Jenny was super encouraging of Merrittt’s goth era, even helping her even with the clothes and makeup, and when she recognised that Merritt needed more alone time then the other two, she asked Hunter to build her a shed out back so she could have her own space.
Despite Jenny’s love and support though, Merritt still rebelled, claiming she didn’t need to go to school due to being a successful author and even getting in trouble with the cops after trying to deface the principals office. There relationship currently is very rocky, but Jenny hasn’t given up and is sincerely trying to reconnect with her daughter.

Mckenzie Cottoneye

Mckenzie is the third triplet of Jenny’s and the one who is the clingiest. Mcekenzie is a mama’s boy through and through, even as a toddler he’d cry for Jenny’s attention till she was rocking him to sleep. Jenny was always there when Mckenzie needed her and despite him not being as fully realised as his sisters, would always encourage him whenever he did branch out.
Mckenzie is probably the most similar to Jenny out of the three, and due to this Jenny made it her goal to tackle all the early signs of neurodivergency so he wouldn’t had to suffer like she did growing up. Even in his teens, Jenny is still there for him both with physical affection and verbal guidance.

Kitten

Kitten is originally Hunter’s cat that he recused years ago, but became her cat as well once she moved in. Kitten will generally approach Jenny when she is lounging around, mainly to curl up beside her or beg for head pats which Jenny is more than happy to provide. Jenny growing up wasn’t ever allowed to keep a pet so to have a cat of her own heals a childhood wish she never knew she had.
