Overly cautious and rarely especially verbal, Anaise (or 'Ana') is often ostracized from her peers for her abnormal manner and grungey appearance. Although she's a bit of a loser, she's genuinely a very sweet girl who suffers from chronic pain, (prompting her cane and knee braces to be put into use) asd, and adhd. she has a strained relationship with her transphobic mother, but a very close one with her father and paternal aunt.

Due to Ana's cautious and somewhat reserved nature, she has immense difficulty bending both enforced and self-enforced rules, even to help herself or others. That being said, Ana cares deeply for those around her, even when not shown that same care from them, and is willing to go to extreme lengths to protect those she loves, even when this forces her to step outside of her comfort zone (and safely structured environment).
