Chris learned, rather early on in his human experiences, that despite common belief, the best way to gather information is to be on the bottom of the food chain. If you're not a threat and just fade into the background, things just slip out. Being a spirit from nature, himself, he's able to enhance or repress his presence, so sometimes someone will walk right into him because he's surpressing himself. Other times he seems intimidating, despite being in a non-threatening pose, for the same reason.

He's curious, by nature, and is always trying to learn more about what is going on. He's also looking for ways to stop the destruction of the planet and nature, as if nature dies, so does he. When he's not around humans, though, he prefers to take to his natural form and if a human spots him in this form, it's supposed to be good luck. He doesn't know where this legend came from, but he doesn't mind it. He just prefers to not be seen by humans in that form for fear that they will try to kill him and claim his pelt and powers for themselves.

He has magic as how could he be a nature spirit without it? lol.

He can grow and heal plants that he comes in contact with, the amount of energy it takes depends on the individual plant.

In his natural form, grass and flowers grow where his hooves touch, if there aren't already growing flowers/grass there. (However, the plants that grow from this wilt when he walks away from them)

He can sense strong natural phenomonon. (Shifts in the weather bringing in a strong storm, oncoming earthquakes, tsunamis, etc)

He doesn't know how to read humans, though, and has been hurt by them many times in the past. But he's still exploring to learn, and is willing to trust them when he's in his human form.
