history
ayata was orphaned as a young child, abandoned alone before he could even remember the faces of his parents. luckily, it wasn't long before a young woman took him in out of the kindness of her heart. she took care of him and loved him as her own, raising him well and making sure he was well taken care of in every way. at some point, he had gotten married and his step-father (as ayata referred to him at the time) had stepped up in his life to give him a father figure. it was difficult for him to adjust at first but it wasn't too long before ayata had "helped" build a treehouse in their backyard.
things had generally been stable for ayata moving forward. it was a home and a family and he was happy. he was still quite young when he met nori. they were quick friends and he was truly the first friend ayata would come to tell his parents about.
as they got older, ayata had done well in school and graduated, choosing to move in with his long term friend... which had at some point become the boy he was in love with.
