• His overconfident exterior and impulsiveness aside, he wants to be everyone's friend; even if his excessive cheeriness can be a little much for some people
• Completely convinced he's excellent at playing his Oboe. He never did learn how to play it properly, and his sense of rhythm is way off. His voice cracks frequently as well, but he's still an excellent spellcaster. He genuinely pours his heart out in all of his performances.
• Loves to brag about his adventures and skills, though most of it is either stuff he made up or is greatly exaggerated. He has no ill intent, of course - he just likes to be admired and seen as cool
• His physical skill in battle isn't quite the best and as much as he denies it, he's a bit of a coward. He tries to brag about being strong, self-assured, and brave ; self-assured, maybe, but strong or brave? He'd rather bolt once a situation turns to the dangerous side of things.
