The Executioner is a denizen who roams Port Rosnu dragging a massive blade behind it, leaving trails of barbed wire in their way and intent on reigning judgment upon its victims. It is a physical manifestation of Fenris' survivor's guilt, anger towards the people who have hurt him throughout his life, and his desire to see both them and himself face punishment for their actions. When Fenris arrives in Port Rosnu, the Executioner quickly makes its way to him, becoming one of the first monsters he encounters and brutally mutilating his arms with its wire. Although he escaped their first encounter alive, the Executioner dead-set on the singular goal of fulfilling Fenris’ desire to receive punishment for his perceived mistakes, and makes its way towards him in a constant chase until it inevitably finds him and delivers its judgment unto him.
- The Executioner's massive knife can land devastating blows, even if it does not directly hit the target. If hit, it will do massive damage, and can easily cleave someone in half.
- When the knife is dragged along behind the Executioner while it walks, its weight and sharpness cuts the ground below it. The cracks left behind will sprout barbed wire that grapples anyone who gets too close to it.
- The barbed wire can also be hidden in the cracks, and only sprout when a target is nearby.
- Despite its strength, the Executioner moves very slow, and swinging its massive blade requires time to wind up. This gives its target critical time to maneuver out of the way to dodge its attacks.
- The Executioner was the third denizen to be made.
- It is pretty massively inspired by Pyramid Head, I gotta admit it.
- The Executioner is intelligent, and has its own thoughts, it just doesn't speak and is usually very tunnel-visioned, only ever being focused on one thing at a time.
- In the time where nothing much happened in Port Rosnu, the Executioner didn't do much, but it did occasionally hunt animals and collect their skulls as trophies. It stopped when Cernunnos stole one of them.
- The Executioner has a fixation on specifically targetting the arms of its victims.
- His arm motif is based on the idea of it representing "every hand that hurt you", since it is a representation of Fenris' feelings towards the people responsible for his trauma and the people who have given him the issues he is still struggling with.
