Prince of Bruidour, manages the kingdom's trade, specifically overseeing mining operations, and civil matters. Birgi, Daggan, and Rella's brother, 26 years old.

Considered to be lax, casual, and goofy, Faro is the easiest of the royal family to speak with. He takes a more gentle approach like his younger brother, but unlike Birgi he isn't as quick to scold or voice an opposing opinion. He's a peacekeeper for his family and is often the one to address civil concerns because of his objective, calm, logical thinking. While he may seem meek or avoidant, he is simply focused on gathering facts while keeping turmoil to a minimum. He isn't rash like his older siblings, but he will hand out the same harsh punishments as them when guilt is proven. Gregarious to a fault, but Faro is actually careful with his words and doesn't let secrets slip so easily. Those who like him adore him for his charm and witty banter, while those who dislike him find him too simple and indecisive or believe he's won so much favour by sleeping around.

Faro is no stranger to casual relationships, and openly flirts. Sometimes he doesn't know when to reel in the jokes and innuendos, especially when attending to important matters. This has got him scolded by all of his siblings at some point or another.

With Daggan having been the rough, rowdy type when he was younger and Birgi having been a sensitive child, Faro took on the role as their caregiver and has naturally grown into a doting type. He expresses his affection with physical touch, whether it be a hand on the shoulder or a tight hug.

While he is good at keeping his emotions in check for the most part, Faro does have a tendency to showcase how he feels in his expressions. In times of stress, he's been known to freeze up. Many will say Faro is forgiving, but he can and will hold a grudge for some time.

Devastated by having witnessed Queen Rella's death and now having to stand in while waiting for Daggan to return to Bruidour and take the throne, Faro has been left in a state of uncertainty. He struggles with a rollercoaster of emotions and overwhelming loneliness, made manageable only because of the mysterious water nymph, Calder, having been called upon by fate to protect him.

With so few he can place his trust in after his sister's death and two attempts on his own life, Faro has found safety surprisingly fast with Calder. He finds the nymph's naivety and honesty charming, while also pitying the fact that he seems to have no say in his life. He has the desire to empower Calder and return the fealty he's been shown, and so he's quickly become doting on the creature.

- 4'4", considered rather short for a guy. His height has never bothered him, even when standing next to Rella (4'8") and Birgi (4'11"). [For context, 4'4" for a dwarf would equate to 5'3" for a human, while 4'11" for a dwarf would be 6'5"]

- less traditional than Daggan and Rella, but not as radical as Birgi - he tends to agree with Birgi more on political matters

- becomes frustrated with both of his brothers for being stubborn, especially so with Daggan - the two have been known to get into heated arguments and used to get into physical fights when they were younger; since Faro never had actual training and he isn't a strong as Daggan, it usually resulted in him losing. Nowadays, Faro has calmed down and Daggan has become quick to apologise to his brother, so their spats are far less explosive

- had a short fling with Thiobalt, Daggan's retainer, and makes it a point to poke fun at him - they have no lingering relationship and are just close friends

- close with Milli, Rella's retainer, like siblings. The two see eye to eye more often then not, but Faro is careful not to take jokes too far with her. He seems to have caught on, at least subconsciously, that Milli is/was off-limits

- he was actually the first dwarf that, after it was lost for hundreds of years, could use magic. He discovered his abilities when he started working in the mines at 15 years old. His magic is weak compared to Birgi's, and can only allow subtle manipulation of stone/earth. He inherited an heirloom bracelet from an elder who worked in the mines, one made of bronze and has four solmengiv gems embedded in it - Faro must be wearing this bracelet to use his magic. He has kept his abilities a secret up until recently - only Eyvin and Sindri know and have swore secrecy

- killed Thiobalt's assailant and aided Eyvin and Sindri in killing Sindri's father. These acts have been kept secret as well
