Backstory

Shine was born as Shrine to his wonderful parents in a small village tribe near shooter territory. There had been recent stories of raids, however, this town had been safe for many years. Shrine lived through his early childhood a happy Crafter, fascinated by the gems that he would find littered everywhere. His mother would sometimes make jewelry for him with the gems he found, and he was living the good life until he was about four. The truce that their village had had with the shooters was broken because of the rise of a new overlord, and the entire village was raided. Almost everyone was murdered, except for the children, who were taken is as slaves.

Shrine was almost immediately renamed Shine, due to his markings and the gemstones he was still adorned with. He was put through 'training,' until we was old enough to be seen by the public. He absolutely hated his life and lashed out at his owner, day and night, whenever anyone was talking to him, or even in his presence. Eventually, his owner had had enough and put him up for auction. Shine's life of hatred cycles through owner to owner, day by day. His hate only grew stronger with each passing Shooter, and He started to have dreams of escape.

Every day, he plans of ways that he can leave his life of slavery. He sometimes thinks of taking others with him, but no one else that he's met has ever been as passionate as him about leaving. The best he can do is continue to move, Shooter through Shooter, until someone casts him out or sets him free.
