Layton is often seen as a charming and adventurous fellow who likes to go exploring outside of the inferno tent (and carnihell itself) They're a smooth talker, and the carni to go to if you want more..grandiose explosions for your acts. He's got a surplus of the goods that they'll be more than gladly to sell you. And humans for that matter- for a price. They're a gentleman at heart, always speaking in a very formal and refined manner. Lay intends to be a shining light in the darkness, striving to be some sort of hero.."saving" humans by taking their souls and using them to fuel his arm. Thanks to the help of a certain mad scientist..

Related
Layton is very thankful for Eligos, and is more than willing to put up with his experiments. Light helped him when he lost his arm, and was at his lowest..which means more to lay than he could muster in words. He loves Eli deeply, and has a great respect/awe for light's brilliant mind.
