He was born to in captivity to his mother, he spent his puphood (0-18 years) in captivity .. being  a pet to humans until he met his older brother from another litter while being outside.
after a an year of meeting up with his older brother, Deimos helped him escape from captivity, though they couldnt get Kiernan's collar off.
Deimos brought him to the pack of canines Deimos had been living with before he met Kiernan.
Kiernan was quickly accepted to the pack, and began climbing through the ranks
