(A recolored Hunter from a co-op campaign I ended up getting rather attached to. They exist in multiple timelines/universes, so the basic background will be listed, and perhaps the AUs at a later time.)

A wild slugcat born with albinism, surviving by a mixture of luck and obtained skill. Their scarred appearance is due to multiple scraps and close encounters, fighting tooth and claw for their life. They’re prone to sunburns, preferring locations with some sort of shaded covering, although not to the point it’s inhibiting their vision. For many cycles they’d survived on their own, but wish to seek out a colony of trusted individuals, perhaps some companionship before their days come to an end. Infected with rot, and limited on time, they’re determined to find a way to seek companionship and find away to avoid succumbing to their sickness.

They’re mysterious and cautious, paranoid about the future and feeling uncertain of what’s to come. They frequently zone out and get easily startled. Their illness causes hallucinations, as well as paranoid fantasies. Despite this, they are very protective of those they trust, willing to wrestle with a red lizard if it ensures their safety. They’re a quick-thinker and able to find impractical solutions or evasion tactics. Like a scavenger, they like to collect pearls, typically storing several in shelters, and one in their crop. Perhaps it’s the shininess that gets their attention.

• AU-1: (Original co-op) Alby encounters two scugs and forms a small colony with them. The two are The Outlaw (McDonalds Sprite) and The Guide (Gild). Unexpectedly, Gild leads the pair across the land and sea. Despite their mysterious nature, Gild ensures the group’s safety, seeming to know the land as if they’ve trekked it many times before. After visiting the two local iterator cans, the slugcats make their way to the void sea, finally free from the toil of this world’s cycle. Gild, however, is left behind, needing to guide others as they did them.
• AU-2: Alby encounters a lost slugpup, whom follows her whilst she wanders. The slugpup is determined to make this journey a living nightmare by being an intentional pest.
