Despite having been torn from her family at a very young age, Alessia still had developed to become a very caring and compassionate lady mage. Selfless to a fault, she has been tirelessly working on making the world a better place in any way she possibly can. Loving and caring towards anybody, her life's goal pretty much saving anybody, she'd rather sacrifice herself than leave anybody behind that she thinks she could save.

Having lost her family in the way she did, Alessia sometimes tends to get somewhat lost in her mind, if one brings up the wrong topic with her… especially if it is kids. In conversations she thus sometimes tends to drift off, but always means well. (119 words)

History

Way back when, when Alessia still didn't know anything about the world, she was playing with her brother and some friends . . . until they weren't anymore! Chasing each other and horsing around, the youngest of their gang had gotten hurt badly! In actuality it might not have been more but a bad sprain… but back then, the younglings were certain their friend was about to die then and there!

Little Alessia freaking out like that, of the firm believe she had doomed her little friend to die, it took few seconds of her and the group panicking… until a giant flash of light suddenly appeared and vanished just as quickly, their friend suddenly all healed up again, after.

In the aftermath of that… well, nobody got mad at her, everybody was praising her in fact, but the consequences for the young fawn came as unexpected as they were severe, in the end. The little one she had healed had told anyone that wanted to hear it, that young Alessia had performed an honest to goodness miracle … and that story didn't take long to spread.

Had it been a witchfinder, or just plain bad luck… but few weeks later, a delegation of the aristocrat's mages came knocking on their door. They soon had talked the young doe into being a threat to their whole family, just by existing… and like that her unexpected journey as a mage had begone.

Nothing else to do but that, she thus diligently worked her way through academy... the young mage even ending up hating her magic, for tearing her away from her family… until the very journey that started her hatred, gave her yet another new point of view.

Getting to help people along the journey she had been forced upon… didn't change her outlook on her now-employers and patrons much, but it sure fanned on her desire to try and 'save everybody', further still. Not to mention: the position they forced her into, had also given her the best starting position for that mission possible, hence: nothing ventured, nothing gained. (349 words)
