Imposter Rage
⚪️ BASICS ⚪️
This is an intergalactic virus that constantly spreads, evolving by the day. There are currently 3 types of the virus, each with varying side effects, severities, and infectiousness. The ways this can be spread is by the following:
Contact with an imposters blood.
A bite by an imposter that draws blood.
An injury by an imposters tongue that draws blood.
Please note that if any of the above happens, it doesn't always mean you will become an imposter. Some types are more infective than others. This depends on the type of imposter, how quickly you get it treated, and how resistant you are to fighting it. However, it is generally unlikely for people to live through an imposter encounter and not become one themself until a cure is created.
🔴 #027A - KILLERS 🔴
This is the most basic group of imposters. They are imposters who have the urge to kill, even if they don't want to. Killers have described it as "fighting for control over your own body." The only way this urge stops, though temporary, is to kill. Some killers are fine after killing an animal, while others are only content after killing humans. If they lose control, they typically go on a killing spree until either restrained or they believe to have killed everyone in the area. Typically passes out immediately after.
Doesn't always have an imposter mouth.
Some are able to control themself easier than others.
Always subconsciously knows who other imposters are.
When a Killer infects someone, the victim can either become another Killer or a Cannibal.
🟡 #027B - CANNIBALS 🟡
This type of imposter has an urge to eat meat, especially from humans. Animal meat still suffices for some. Are able to eat cooked meat, though most prefer it raw. If unable to get food, they will sometimes eat parts of their own skin.
Always has an imposter mouth.
Most likely to have other deformities such as: eyes on various parts of the body, mouths where they shouldn't be, and other extra additions. Can also sometimes gain animal-like features that are typically reptilian.
Does not subconsciously know who other imposters are.
Most likely to spread the virus.
When a Cannibal infects someone, the victim can either become a Killer or another Cannibal.
🔵 #027C - SHAPESHIFTERS 🔵
They are able to shape-shift into others people, specifically those they recognize, such as crewmates. Some are also able to shift into other species, such as bugs and animals. Not all shapeshifters are good at it, sometimes unable to replicate certain aspects such as colors, hats, clothing, height, etc.
Least likely to spread the virus.
Typically seen as the most deceptive.
The only type who can be born with the virus.
Has the most control over themselves.
Though rare for Shapeshifters to infect someone, it can happen. When it does, the victim always becomes another shapeshifter. They can also breed with others and potentially get a child born as a shapeshifter.
🟣 #027D - SEEKERS 🟣
This type has only been discovered recently. Appears to be a mutation which shares traits from both Killers and Cannibals, and can very rarely even have features from shapeshifters as well. A killing machine that kills anyone and anything in sight, even if it's another imposter. Very difficult to defeat. Only one has ever been contained and sent to MIRA's Earth base, but there are likely more throughout the galaxy.
Most dangerous type.
Appears taller than average when mouth is open.
Can run faster than average.
Somehow senses where living organisms are. Don't stay at on place for too long.
Though they have a high chance of infecting people, they rarely do so due to their victims already being dead. It's unlikely to be hurt and still escape from it.
