ABOUT
"-But why target me, then? What could I possibly have that’s even remotely interesting to such a thing? Or to anyone else, for that matter… "
Elisa is a teen with a rotten school life and an even more rotten home situation. She's tuck in a loop of making her mum upset with her grades and getting bad grades because her mum is upset with her. With no end to this situation in sight, Elisa started to lose hope of life ever being any different than it was now. that is, until she met a strange lady called The Doctor...
PERSONALITY
Elisa appears to be grumpy and standoff-ish, which she actually is to some extend. She tends to only talk to people unless spoken to and she likes to quietly enjoy herself in the comfort of her own room. But that doesn't mean she wouldn't also love to have someone to talk to and hang out with. Because she gets bullied and made fun of frequently though, she tends to keep her guard up about her most basic interests. Once she feels more comfortable (which is often while alone in her room) she tends to get more expressive again and show a more joyful side. She also struggles with her self esteem and doesn't want to be a burden for others.
Elisa can be a bit of a dreamer when she lets her guard down too. She likes observing the clouds above and taking pictures of various small things around her that she finds beautiful. She also likes to get creative and make up her own characters. These characters are mostly anthromorphic animals. She also likes crafting costumes and is in the process of making herself a fursuit of her fursona.
She is also a pretty big Pink Floyd fan.

BIOGRAPHY
THE START
Elisa came to the world with her parents already split up. Her and her older brother Dylan stayed with their mother during the week, but every now and then her brother would stay at their dad's place for the weekend too. Elisa never really got a strong relationship with her father and never felt like she should build one either. Her brother would often come back with tales about how lazy and boring his dad was, which Elisa figured was enough evidence to never come along on one of these weekends with him. Elisa used to be very close with her mum and brother, though. They had some financial hardships, but they always spend a lot of time together and often played boardgames in the evenings. It was her little family against the world.
Her family started to fall apart though as she got older. Her mum became more grumpy as her job wore her down and her brother started to visit his dad more, with his father having gotten a girlfriend who pulled him out of the depression he was in and bettering the relationship with his son. Dylan leaving more frequently eventually led to conflict with his mum, who started to miss him, and then that evolved into an even bigger conflict with everyone involved. Eventually he decided to live with his father permanently and cut contact with Elisa's part of the family.
THE THINGS WE LOST
After this conflict, Elisa felt very alone. She didn't fight with her brother of this whole thing, but because she lived under her mum's roof, keeping in contact proved to be incredibly difficult. At first they did message frequently, but life gets busy, and a message gets left on read longer and longer... Her mum was very good at keeping grudges and for a while, her temper remained rather short. Though eventually she decided to choose Elisa over the people she'd lost. She got another, better-paying job so she could save up and do more things with her daughter. At first this seemed to be a step into the right direction, but that hope quickly flushed down the drain in Elisa's eyes as her mother had to travel more and more for her job.
Now, frequently home alone with the stresses of school, bullying and family issues, Elisa started to get darker and darker thoughts until that light at the end of the tunnel became very dim. This was life now, and nothing could convince her things were ever going to get better. That is, until she passed a strange lady at school.
THE THINGS WE FOUND
On another rotten day like any other, she cried her woes away in the girl's bathroom. Then suddenly, an odd woman walked in with an even odder dinging device. Perplexed and unsettled, Elisa started figuring out how to escape the situation, when she was attacked by a large, alien worm from the ceiling. Lucky for her, this odd woman seemed to know a thing or two about monstrosities like these. More info to come! Literature pending.
RELATIONS
Elisa first thought the Doctor was just some crazy woman, but now she's HER crazy woman. She wouldn't ever say it, but she's grown rather fond of her and sees her like the aunt she never had. She truly feels like if she had the guts to do it, she could open up to her about anything or go to her if she's ever in trouble. The Doctor is good fun to be around and she's learned a lot about herself during her travels with her.
Elisa is VERY fond of Jim and is always excited to see him when he's snuck into the TARDIS again. When the Doctor tries to shoo him out or keep him inside, Elisa is always the first to try and convince her to let Jim do his own thing. Jim often cuddles up to Elisa and is the only one who's allowed to pick him up.
Elisa honestly like the Master's company. She thinks they're wacky, but overall alright. A conversation with the Master is never boring and she'd even go as far as to say she looks forward to stumbling upon them again. Elisa doesn't really get why the Doctor is so on-edge around them and figures it's just something personal.
MISC
TRIVIA
- Elisa's hoodie used to belong to her brother Dylan, but he left it when he decided to move in with his dad.
- When I made her I wanted to make a character who looks like they're someone you could meet in real life. I'd like to think I succeeded :o]
- A lot of the ways she's bullied are inspired by the way I was bullied as a teen, because I feel real life bullying is more often than not more subtle and therefore harder to understand as bullying in the moment.
- Elisa's fursona is called Twilight
- Elisa's interests in fursuit making and furry OCs was inspired by my little sister.
