Onyx (Mothcat)

Onyx is a serious Mothcat who was brought to Aldora after falling through a mysterious portal that opened up in his home land of Ificia. Thanks to his magical roots, he's very in-tune with the land around him despite the new surroundings. Onyx considers himself as a "servant leader" and goes out of his way to assist those in need by sharing his wisdom and physical strength. In his old home he had to act as a no-nonsense paragon, always on the lookout for trouble. Now in Aldora, Onyx has relaxed and started to develop a sense of humor. One thing that hasn't changed is his drive to mentor the younger generation. Onyx will travel around the continents of Falena seeking out troubled and gifted kids alike and offer them knowledge and training. In return, he asks that they look out for their peers and work together to improve the world. 

Onyx is not quick to warm up to other people but he's never rude. He needs time to get to know people and understand their personalities and intentions. Once someone has earned his trust or respect he will not hesitate to go to bat for them. Onyx feels most comfortable letting his guard down around those he knows the best.
