sayumi and her siblings were kidnapped at a very young age by finn during a raid on their hometown and trained as archers
two years after the attacks on bethelin, anna and osamu decided to run away and try to find a better, more peaceful life
they begged sayumi to go with them, but she decided to stay behind and eventually snitched on them
personality
she is extremely snarky and mean-spirited. she's the queen of clever one-liners during combat. she has a very strong sense of loyalty to finn, perhaps driven slightly by fear, and will do anything to gain his favor in the hopes of one day taking his place as leader.
she likes fucking with people in any way possible and isn't afraid to do whatever it takes to climb the political ladder.
