jake is jackson's confident and smug younger brother, also serving as the lead guitarist in their band as well as an occasional backup vocalist. having a bad upbringing, jake has always leaned on jackson a lot for support. he looks up to him and has a lot of respect for him. he kind of wishes he didn't smoke as much as he did, but he could be doing worse things so it doesn't bother him too much.
big people pleaser, golden retriever personality. although he's cocky he has a big heart and is very compassionate, especially towards those he sees himself in. while jackson hasn't forgiven their parents, he has.
smokes occasionally with jackson but not too often. prefers drinking more. he can get a little wild at times, having his parents addictive personality.
looks up to sol in a similar way he does to jackson but isn't very close with sol, finds them a little scary.
