When Oliver was little, their mom divorced their dad, who was fired from chief of police due to him 'going insane'. He insisted there were beings that walked this earth beyond humans- but they resembled humans enough to blend in. Oliver wasn't that involved in their dad's 'seeing fairies' ordeal, until he mysteriously disappeared, leaving his house to Oliver.

Oliver mostly kept to themself... until one day they stumbled upon their dad's 'studies'. Studies that actually made a lot of sense. Now Oliver, too, is falling into the obsessive spiral their dad did, determined to prove that the fae are real...
