After contracting a strange illness that drained the color from him, Wish moved to a remote hot spring on Nie. Soaking in its waters is one of the few things that alleviates his fatigue. He sees a strange apparition from time to time around the springs when it's dark out. At first it brought him terror, but they've learned to coexist. He leaves the Watcher little peace offerings sometimes, and her ink-black form sits out there beside them all night, unmoving, her white pricks for eyes boring into his window. The offerings are always gone by morning.
