Auburn leads a quiet life, growing tea and other assorted plants for the shops in Sanctuary. His job is low-stress and doesn't demand a ton of time from him, and what is time consuming is also repetitive -- which Auburn finds relaxing. He has fauna speech which allows him to communicate with animals, so a number of the strays in Sanctuary find their way to his back door, where he is happy to offer them food and water. He is also good with kids of all ages -- the same chores around the shop that he finds soothing are excellent for keeping a child occupied, and makes it easy to keep an eye on them. Auburn is an unofficial babysitter for half his neighborhood, and he's happy to stay busy that way.

In his free time, he visits the tea shops across Sanctuary. He enjoys chatting with the owners, most of whom are very similar to himself. They have a good, warm community together.
