FEATURES AND TRAITS
Spellcasting: Starting at 1st level you gain the ability to cast spells.
Ritual Casting: You can cast a Kitsune spell as a ritual if that spell has the ritual tag.
Spellcasting Focus: Magic for you is innate. You draw the power from yourself through your tails, because of this you do not need a spell casting focus in your hand. Your tails are the focus for you.
Darkvision: You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Fox Fire: All kitsune are born with the ability to conjure what is known as fox fire and you are no exception. You know the produce flame cantrip and can cast it at will. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for it.
Fox Spirit: You may, as if per the polymorph spell, turn into a fox. The fox uses the statistics of a jackal. You may shift back and forth into this form as a bonus action. You stay in this form a combined total of 10 minutes at 1st level, 15 at 5th, 20 at 10th and 30 at 17th.
Speak With Beasts: You have the ability to communicate in a limited manner with beasts. They can understand the meaning of your words, though you have no special ability to understand them in return. You have advantage on all Charisma checks you make to influence them.
Way of the Wild: Your years of traveling have granted you great knowledge of the world and it's inhabitants. You know where almost anything can be found, whether it be monsters, beasts, humanoids, plants or more. Also, after so long providing for yourself, you have become an expert forager. You have advantage on any checks made to forage for food or materials, and you find twice as much as you normally would.
