"Memory decays like bodies in the forest. It slips away and falls through your fingers, or it can grow and expand into something you don't really recognize anymore. It's not quite the same as it actually happened, things are never as they were the longer they sit and grow fungi. It's a tragic yet beautiful thing, Decay." - Gamma referencing the thing that walks through Michael's forest. She's not a god but a deity, but he has granted her immortality and the ability to shift forms like a god... At least in this world she's immortal. There's only so much Gamma can do for a creature that's technically already dead, being eaten by the fungus growing from her body. She's beautiful though, he found her in the swamps in an empty amethyst cavern. She seemed sad, opening her mouth to call out for an Omen. He later found she came from another world, the spot she sat in being consistent in all of them she's visited minus her friends she's found. Decay explained that the place is normally a large elaborately carved and managed casino called The Hidden Gem, and the Omen she sought was actually her friend. Gamma pitties her, but not in a way one typically would. She's beautiful, and he's sad that she seems to have lost her way. Maybe some day he can find the friends she misses so and bring the casino to her.
