Vicent is a Revenant; aka a zombie subtype wherin the person keeps their sense of self.
They were killed in a Villain attack, why? Not sure yet, but probably some experiment BS or something. Once revived they made their way back home, only for their parents to be like. Okay our child is back from the dead, but we have no idea how tf to deal with them and end up sending them to live with their relative (soon to be Auncle) Quinn. The reasoning behind this is that Quinn also died and was resurrected, and therefore can take better care of Vicente, however Vicente's parents "forget" to tell Quinn they're just dropping their child off at her house and just kinda go back home. They're good parents, but this is one of their major faults.
Anyway, Quinn ends up taking them in and helping them cope with what happened to them, she provides them with both an arm and face prosthetic, and help them practice their sign language and speech.
-- Vicente has no lips, and therefore must learn how to speak without the use of those sounds. They end up taking ventriloquism classes to help with this issue Quinn also helps them by continuing their Kickboxing lessons that they were taking beforehand, and also teaching them how to use throwing knives. (However, she gets a specialist for this becuase she really is only familiar with hand to hand combat.
Eventually Vicente is growing restless doing the same thing everyday. They end up asking Quinn what she did after coming back, and she tells them how she saved the world. But there's no current world ending problems so.... However, Quinn ends up telling them to become a superhero anyway. And BOOM! Revenanr is born. However this name doesn't end up sticking and people end up calling them Zom-Boy, which they hate.
Eventually they join Young Justice and at some point end up dating Aqualad.
