Eshe Marguerite Nejem was born to to the combined old money-new money family of Nadja Sharifi and Bahir Nejem. Bahir, an internationally renowned journalist and news broadcaster, Nadja, the daughter of Casper Sharifi, CEO and founder of the Sharifi Conglomerate. One thing was for certain, she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Because of this life of prominence, Eshe spent most of her life sheltered, doing as she was told by others, especially her perfectionist mother who was prone to lash out behind closed doors. Her father, due to his reputation in terms of his reporting was often sent into warzones and given first access to sources that could endanger his life. Post Saddam Hussein's execution in 2006, Bahir was sent to do an exclusive piece on the state of Iraq post-Hussein. Before the Iraqi al-Qaeda surge of 2007, one of the final acts committed by the group (that is before rebranding as ISIS in 2013), was the kidnapping of several western journalists including Bahir Nejem. While most of the journalists were found dead, body parts scattered throughout the region, Bahir's body was never found, drawing the consensus that he was dead. Eshe upon hearing the news of her father went into a depressive state. No longer leaving her room or eating, even talking back to the adults surrounding her— most notably her mother. After a press conference gone array, Eshe found herself without a home, thrown to the streets by a mother who saw her longer as an asset and more of a liability.
With nothing but twenty euros in her pocket, she found her way to Marseille, surviving solely off of stolen food from street venders. The infamous pretty faced burglar was soon plucked off the streets by the underlings of Dominique Desrosiers, a member of the Unione Corsica and a leader in the French sex trade. Dominique took her in under a fallacy of caring for the young girl with no name (or really, he was unaware of what her name was and what it held), but what really caught his eye was the possible business that could come about a girl of her appeal; young, beautiful, a hint of mature feminine charm hidden amongst her childish frame and attitude. Upon the realization that he was not taking her in out of the goodness of her heart, she tried to back out. He thought her ungrateful for all he provided her and decided to break her in to the business. He raped her in the backseat of his car and after he was done he locked the vehicle from the outside to make sure she wouldn't try and escape. That day the girl who lost her name, lost her whole self. That day the girl who lost everything became Vivienne.
She spent three years since that day working as a prostitute on the streets of Marseille, each and every day filling her with further disgust, further apathy. It wasn't until one fateful evening her former mentor Nicholas Clark had been researching for a novel he was working on and spotted her; it was out of a gut feeling he knew who she was. Maybe it was because she was impulsive and hadn't thought much about what would happen if she left, but Nick had taken her away from France and moved her to New York City. He gave her an honest way to make a living. This new beginning would be entitled 'Arwa' a homage to her father's favorite novel, 'Qui Vivra Verra' and while it's filled with its share of steep drops, there are uprisings. She who lives, shall see.

Older music from the 60's and 70's but she's especially preferenced toward anything Motown related, the song 'Hello Stranger' by Barbara Lewis, the sound a record makes right before it starts playing music, Old, French romance-dramas that are 9/10 times very bad and b-movie quality, Italian neorealism, McDonald's (she's especially partial toward McNuggets), Diet Coke, bad puns, roses, large dogs, bootleg designer clothes, cotton candy flavored vodka, flavored lubes, pearls, cigarettes, blonde hair, white sundresses, children, the smell of rain, the ocean, theft, sex, drugs, sunshine, aquariums, weird, offbeat shops you only find by walking around a lot, ballet, singing, acting, red lipstick, bubblegum.

 | Arwa has long jet-black hair that can be styled in any number of ways, most popularly straigtened with slight curls at the end. Because of her Arab and Persian roots, her skin is of a slight darker shade of honey, still nonetheless, being light skinned. When in the States, she is often confused for being of some kind of Latin American descent and in Europe, she is often thought to be a Spaniard, much to her disdain.

- Because of her lack of education, her reading and speaking skills are more or less, delayed than that of her peers of the same age.
- Rarely watches television, finding it "tasteless", only finding enjoyment in 1950s French romance B-level quality films and movies starring Audrey Hepburn. One such movie she does like outside of these categories however, is Pretty Woman starring Julia Roberts, mainly as it gives her some semblance of false hope. She also enjoys films of or close to the Italian neorealism genre like La Dolce Vita and Il Tetto.
Listens to old, American R&B, via Motown era sound, mostly through vinyl. - Has a deep admiration for old Hollywood aesthetics and most of her apartment decor reflects this.
- Is a horrible person to get a hold of usually having to call back several times before she picks up.
Sense of humor is almost dark and cynical, with a few jokes cracked at the expense of Europeans. - Has a fascination with death having been surrounded by it and because of this she's vowed to never kill as she sees death as something entirely predetermined by a higher power.
- With that said, her belief in a higher power is purely outside of falling into line with any organized religion's, despite being raised Muslim.
