Personality
Being the Queen, Phethys has two sides to her personality; the mature, measured one, and the more private, relaxed side she only reveals to those she trusts.
The Queen is a beautiful woman who exudes confidence, is soft-spoken, and respectful of her husband and her title. She is kind and benevolent, but has a quick, but still tactful, wit.
Phethys has an uncanny ability to observe and listen, often learning things about others that they don't know about themselves.
She is very careful about who she allows close to her. Her friends know her to be a kind, bubbly young soul who loves to dance and craves something far simpler than the luxurious life of Queen.
Cares for all, and will try to help anyone who she sees suffering. Despite her reign over medicine, she struggles with seeing others in pain, though she hides it well.
Those who know of her past look down upon her, especially those who were close to Metriche. To her face, she is highly respected, but there is a quiet distaste, as if some lie in waiting for their chance to avenge the late Queen.

History
Born in a world she doesn't remember, she was sought out by an Oracle and brought to the Convent in Stissonia, as she was God Marked to the then Queen, Metriche.
Come her ceremony, everything went as expected until Queen Metriche touched the mark on the back of Phethys' neck, and there was an explosion of light. When the light dimmed, Phethys knelt upon the dais in front of a pile of ash where the Queen had been stood.
There was chaos and unrest amongst the Gods, who had never seen one of their own killed in this way. Phethys was placed in a cell for weeks while they deliberated on what to do. Some wished to have her killed to avenge their Queen, others wanted her sent back to whatever realm she hailed from. It was eventually decided that, since she now posessed Metriche's power, that Phethys would now replace her as Queen, under the heavy hand of the King, who would make sure she never used her power against them.
She was given the epithet "Wolf Slayer" by mortals who had been displeased with the previous Queen, who was known for raizing entire villages for the mistakes of one or two who desecrated her temples.
Phethys spent the next few centuries trying to fit into her newly acquired title. She tried to get close to her husband, tried to love him. Aarus, however, seemed to have little interest in loving her. He would gladly make use of her body whenever he desired, much to her dismay, but was never affectionate. Still, she tried to show him care in hopes he would one day do the same for her. Eventually she gave up and kept to herself more, making close friends in the goddesses Kadea and Onanke, who did not judge her for what she had done.
