Bram and his identical twin Mara live with their father. As a single father he worked long hours and fell into depression after his wife left.

From a young age Bram struggled to fit in, drawing away from his one close sister. Bram found comfort in escapes, reading, smoking anything to distract himself.  In his late teens Bram came across the term transgender and quickly fell for it. He made an online persona, 'Bram' to talk to other people in similar situations and try out different pronouns.

 With his rocky relationship with his father and now distant sister Bram continued to struggled with his depression and the now added stress of hiding his identity he began to lash out. After getting in a particularly nasty fight he gets done in for smoking weed. Mara bails him out and after years of distance they finally talk. Mara helps Bram meet people who can help him getting treatment for masculinization and stands up with Bram as he comes out to their dad. In the end it goes alright. He gets on a weak dose of T and  is slowing saving up to get Top surgery.

 In the midst of Mara finding out and helping Bram He meets Noah. A short guy with a penchant for cute things. They attended the same high school and while Bram was happy to coast by and eventually leave as an unknown face in the corner of photos, the two kept running into each other. First only at school, standing in line next to each other, group project, then it started outside of school. It was awkward at first, Noah offering brief hellos each time they bumped into each other. Slowly Noah got fed up and started actively talking to Bram. Conversations started stilted but as they talked more they found common interests and grew closer.

After barely passing highschool Bram took a gap year to save up and is now studing to get a degree in writing. Finding his previous passion for reading returning as a will to create his own stories.
