DEVONEY🌃

Before the fall of Ephist-13, Devoney was a devoted follower of Serpentia. His species are labeled Starforms the accidental product from a neutron star. He worked exclusively in Ephist-13 stocking ships for their departure and transportation and occasionally working in the SRG (Spatial Rift Gateway) assisting newcomers and as a guide (similar to Darwn's job). During the day of the attack, Devoney was on the floor fuelling ships until he got attacked by human invaders slashing, tearing and burning the surface of his arm and his back. In pain and frustration, he eats 2-3 human invaders to get rid of the others as a threat. Not long after the assault, Ephist-13 personnel rushed him into the medic bay not far from the fuelling dock. After getting care human invaders discover the medic bay filled to the brim with mixed species injured from attacks prior and from the attack. Infiltrating a medic bay filled with a range of refugees from different planets. Devoney being the strong-willed and physically stronger alien from the rest throws himself into immediate danger to protect the rest of the aliens trying to get care. Killing around 20 humans and with it eats 13 humans in his pursuit to lead the others to safety into escape ships to the backup moon, Vaia. 

Workers that take care of Vaia to make sure it’s stocked and prepared for emergencies take different groups of extraterrestrial life and split them into ships to find a place to live on another planet or to Fovinin one of the largest split planets consisting of a market district, work, and housing. Although regularly receiving visitors passing through for the night or to permanently live, due to its size it’s rarely a problem for overpopulation. After situating himself in an apartment complex near the markets that aren’t far from ship docks settles himself down at a nuclear fission energy company with a similar role to his previous job, delivering energy through the form of energy cores to docked ships. This job gives him a lot of freedom as the production of the cores is done on different planets transported, transported in bulk to Fovinin, which then Devoney takes and delivers to places for a small fee. In return for his services, customers can donate/tip their core carriers and are usually very generous. Not only that but the company is very successful where he gets paid annually in large sums.

A couple years after settling down in Fovini one day he takes a trip to the local tavern for a drink and meets Gavin for the first time. Dev makes one of the first worst decisions and drinks too much and ends up inviting Gavin to his place from then on this habit of meeting Gavin at the tavern, getting with him, and slowly developing a strong connection and affection for Gavin which turns into an unhealthy situationship which Dev is both blindly unaware of and reluctant to.
