Iris would much prefer that the world was filled with sounds that he wants to hear. The raging sandstorms, bustle of the marketplace, and idle chatter are all things that grind on him immensely. He knows better than to say that openly, of course. He recognizes that it's a him problem. He just wishes that there could be a little more quiet, maybe some light music to break up the monotony. He took up playing the lyre to try and further this goal. He can often be found sitting just outside of the house, lost in the music he's playing. He doesn't believe in talking in excess. He tends only to speak when spoken to, and has a hard time with small talk. He's known to be polite and professional, if a little awkward at times.
