[Location] Carcosa City

Yeah I'm going to add locations to my characters because some of these places could be 'characters' of their own.

Carcosa is the city that Watchword takes place in
It's named after  Ambrose Bierce short story An Inhabitant of Carcosa and  Robert W. Chambers The King In Yellow, which itself may have been derived from the medieval city of Carcassonne in France.
Do not ask me what 'state' Carcosa would be located in I have zero clue ?
It is a port city
Similar to the story by Bierce the city was once very lively and very prosperous but once the war was over it fell from grace.

The Smith Foundation focuses on the study of historical artifacts

The Carcosa Museum once focused on local history has now expanded to include artifacts from Kenya and Egypt.

The Dollhouse, not a lot of people know of it's existence but it's a speakeasy that has yet to be shut down. They run weekly drag shows and is a place where people can mingle with other races, sexes and sexualities. It does mask itself as an inn but the inn is rarely used.

The Copperfield Office, Bruce and Ginger work to solve cases on their own or alongside law enforcement. 

The Carcosa University: Pretty small for a university and segregated during the Watchword era into the Black Wing and White Wing.

Yellow King Theater: is hardly ever used and has seen better days. It's nearly falling apart but is owned by the famed Smith Family. there are plans to fix it up and reopen it at a later date. Its mostly a place where youths tell ghost stories of local gangs or cult meet-ups to sacrifice young children or a ghost haunts the grounds. Stories vary depending on who you ask.

City Hall: Holds records of individuals  and events that happened in the city

Unnamed newspaper: Where Violet works during her day job, the paper is owned by the Smith family

Will add other places
might consider adding other citizens if people want to? Won't be apart of the main plot of Watchword but could be stuff done in between. OTL the downside of making your own thing is not being able to connect ocs. Sadddddd

also pretty much always rains? Like yeah there are some sunny days but it's more common for the weather to be kinda cold and wet
