Salvatore Chatelain

Another duel is due by the Fontainian court. There's chatter to be heard on the streets, "The Butcher...", "I heard the Butcher will make an appearance!". The Butcher, or as his official title states, Fontaine's Executioner is a name that brings excitement to all the onlookers and fear to those he opposes, the champion duelist hired only for the most slimy of opponents. Notorious for his exceptionally high ruthlessness, it is a well known fact that Salvatore Chatelain only stops his attack once you admit your crimes, or when your heart gives out, earning him his nickname. Salvatore is a hydro vision wielder, most proficient with the sword. His name wasn't always Chatelain, though. Born Salvatore Balashov to a Fontainian woman and Shnezhnayan man, the young boy had his path laid clear by his father: an up-and-coming champion duelist, stealing the hearts of the audience by the show he put on every time. Salvatore wasn't prone to violence however, not like his father was, taking the stress out even in the four walls of his own house. Despite that, the choice was stripped away from him once the couple quarrels finally boiled over and Father Balashov rid Salvatore of his beloved mother, and once his trial came, as if trying to finish the job, he requested for a duel for honor with the now teenage boy. This offer wasn't Salvatore's to turn down. After facing the man that affected every part of his life so far, it became clear it was either him or his father - a true battle to the death. Ultimately, Salvatore came out victorious, claiming his mother's name - Chatelain - as a final tribute. It had scarred him deeply however, leaving him a forever changed man, now violent and erratic, following in his father's footsteps. Will he be able to quell his bloodlust before in encompases him?
