Ariums
content
Ariums are a man-made lab-grown species. Originally, they came from combining lab-grown human brains with a material harvested from meteorites. They are able to communicate through means currently unknown to scientists, but it is much more effective than any means of communication that humans have ever made. This is known because of how quickly the entirety of the species became toxic to humans. It was a spontaneous development, thought to be done as a way to allow their vivarium specimens to thrive. There are a fair amount of the population of Ariums that can communicate with humans, and it was said that as a whole, they felt humans having such a large hold over the environments of the planet was detrimental to all other species of the planet. Collectively, they shared how to alter their chemical make up so that they could be toxic to humans, but not other species. This mostly worked, cutting the human population down by 80+%. Now, they continue to hold their specimens within their vivarium bodies as they work to find proper environments for each one.
