Background summary Draven’s childhood was one of instability. Born to an absent father who worked in the oil industry and a emotionally unavailable stay-at-home mother, his family moved around a lot giving him issues with stability. He changed schools frequently, living in New Mexico, North Dakota, and Texas throughout his youth. Once he was old enough to leave, Chain packed up and left, moving around before he settled in Queens, NYC.

There he fell into running an auto repair shop, developing a love with vintage cars and owning a few nice ones himself. But he was still struggling with money, living in such an expensive city and he tracked down a way to make ends meet; Illegal street fighting. With his large stature and intense physic, Chain quickly became a popular contender. In this lifestyle, he developed his now famous nickname, Choke Chain. He has a reported no-loss win streak, becoming a well-known name in this illegal industry.
