Robert is a vibrant university student, brimming with charisma and surrounded by a multitude of friends. Despite his outgoing nature, he harbors a guarded heart, often fearing vulnerability and preferring to deflect with self-deprecating humor. His lively exterior belies a deeper complexity, as he navigates the delicate balance between openness and self-protection in his relationships. Robert's magnetic personality draws others to him effortlessly, yet he remains cautious about revealing his true emotions, finding solace in jest and playful banter. Beneath his jovial facade lies a tender soul, yearning for genuine connection amidst the laughter and camaraderie of his social circle.

Story

The boy was born on the outskirts of the city of Concord in the state of New Hampshire. He was a desired firstborn, and the whole family joyfully welcomed the baby. His name was given as Robert, but within the family circle, the diminutive and affectionate name "Ro" quickly stuck. From early childhood, the boy was showered with care and attention. Both his mother and father were involved in raising him, sparing no effort or time, which bore fruit. Learning to speak and walk, young Suarez continued to explore the world and delight everyone with his bright orange eyes, which bestowed upon everyone a carefree smile and affection.

Childhood passed in the comfort and coziness of home. His parents opted for homeschooling, and he successfully acquired the basic knowledge that was planned for preschool. Robert was always active and talkative, so new faces in his environment were constantly coming and going. Thus, by the time he reached school age, he had already made many friends who always stood shoulder to shoulder with the mischievous lad. Ro was as confident behind the school desk as he was in communicating with friends. The knowledge he gained at home motivated him, and he was considered almost top of his class. He never hesitated to share answers with friends or explain a difficult problem. He tried to greet everyone with a smile from ear to ear and joyful laughter that illuminated everything around him.

Several years passed, and now the dark-haired teenager had graduated from middle school. The year ended with good grades, and the boy was already surrounded by the warmth and kindness of those around him.

Unfortunately, the happy years in his hometown had to be postponed, albeit not hastily. The boy's parents were saving money to move to the larger state of Michigan. There, they had already chosen a good school with promising prospects for Robert, and his grades only confirmed the possibility of relocation. The Suarez family's desire to move was not only linked to Robert's future prospects but also to his brother, who was due to be born next year. The addition to the family was a joyful event, but the move plunged the teenager into despair. The hurried preparations for buying a house and processing documents consumed all the summer time that Ro wanted to spend with his friends. Without properly saying goodbye to his loved ones, the Suarez family was already heading towards a new chapter. Unfortunately, such abrupt movements during adolescence only complicate a teenager's life. And so it happened with Robert. He was deeply angry with his parents for ruthlessly disrupting what Suarez Jr. had built over the years. The priceless friendship was shattered into small pieces, leaving the young man crushed. He felt that there was no point in this trip, and their home could have accommodated another hundred children. But in this situation, he was not the one making decisions, so he had to resign himself to the injustice and move on.

II

High school proved to be a challenge for the teenager. Due to general stress and homesickness, Ro began to fall behind in his studies. High grades no longer pleased him, and his parents didn't notice, being absorbed in the new addition to the family. Deprived of attention, Robert sought to surround himself with friendship as quickly as possible, which he had been deprived of. The company formed quickly, but the environment was dubious. At first, everything seemed as it used to be, but the new friends turned out to be a rather nasty gang, engaging in all sorts of mischief. Initially, this didn't affect Robert himself, but at one fine moment, the irreparable happened.

The story began at the moment when the young man was again surrounded by reliable companions and cheerful everyday life. Parties and gatherings with friends greatly intoxicated the teenager, and he felt alive again, as if he had returned to the threshold of his own home. Among the new friends was one bright spark, much like Suarez. The blond immediately became his best friend, and later, Robert began to feel an excessive attachment, more akin to infatuation. Since childhood, Ro was raised in a tolerant family, so he could not even imagine that love between two young men could be condemned. And so it happened that Suarez decided to confess his feelings to his friend, receiving a positive response. Being on cloud nine with happiness, the guy enthusiastically discussed future plans with his friend, but it was too early to rejoice.

Suarez was a determined lad, so he saved up money for a restaurant and invited the blond on a date. After discussing the time, the teenager marked the days on the calendar, inspired by the romantic dinner. Arriving at the meeting place, Ro awaited his beloved, but at the appointed hour, new friends appeared from around the corner, not the blond. One question after another, and now the dark-haired teenager was lying on the floor with a bruise under his eye and a bruise on his cheek. They kicked him, laughed at him, and mocked him while he kept asking the same question, "Why?" The offenders made it clear to Robert that it was all a joke, and after the confession, the blond told the rest of the group. While they smiled and congratulated each other, behind Suarez's back, they were already planning revenge for the "not like everyone else".

The emotionally shattered boy made it home. His parents knew about the date, and seeing their beaten son, they shuddered and began to treat his wounds. At that moment, the decision was made to temporarily move back to their hometown and rent accommodation there until the teenager fully recovered.

The incident changed Robert's opinion of those around him, and he became more closed off in his feelings. Friendship became a reason to flinch for him. Until graduation from high school, Ro stayed on homeschooling, surrounded by relatives. After the incident, the guy completely changed his image, and on his eighteenth birthday, he got a tattoo on his nose. Only his orange eyes betrayed the same bright Robert that everyone knew in the neighborhood.

After finishing school, the guy managed to secure a place at university and enrolled in a mathematics program. After enrollment, his parents returned to Detroit, and Robert moved to live in a dormitory at the university, where he continues to study to this day.
