Melchon

MELCHON is the demon of prideful obsession. Her wheelhouse in modern times is the flamewar, as well as the kind of pointless argument that comes down to a technical semantic distinction but which no one can walk away from. With her stubby wings, she fans the flames of argument, and tempts mortals to keep on arguing, just to get the last word in. Her invocation is "According to the dictionary..."

Outside her unsavory aspect, Melchon is a conservation advocate and devotes much of her spare time to habitat reclamation efforts and wildlife rescue. She also seems to be fostering a variable number of cats and kittens at all times, and it's hard to have a conversation with her that doesn't include "Know anyone looking for a really sweet cat?"
