Kibbie is an active lover of kind of..everything. He loves collecting anything he can find while travelling the lands of Confibula. Though he mostly like to collect pebbles as they are often easier to find than most other things. They also work well as courtship gifts! So it's a win-win.

He's a bit hard headed as well.

Relationships:

🟢Fynn

• Fynn is his father, and overall their relationship is on good terms. However things can get shakey at times due to Kibbies eagerness to hoard anything that is found, even from other phonies. Though with the sheer size difference between the two(Kibbie is 10ft and Fynn is 3ft), Fynn often gives in rather quickly. He also just doesn't like conflict in general.
• Though rare, Kibbie has been generous a few times for Fynn. Sharing pebbles and cool looking plants from other biomes. Fynn appreciates it greatly.
• Whenever Fynn stops by to visit, he will often go through all the things he's recently found.

🟢Hotline

Raising Hotline

• During a certain time of year(October-November irl), phonies often gather in mass in the Brine. Searching for gourds, eggs, pebbles and so much more. It's a high traffic area, which means everyone is finding things they like. Kibbie being..Kibbie, doesn't like sharing. Upon finding a brightly colored red egg while travelling the Brine, Kibbie was quick to take it and find a spot to incubate it carefully.
• Kibbie was a bit aggressive when protecting his little outcrop in the brine. From zombies to other phonies. He was not letting anyone else near this egg of his.
• He often wondered how Fynn acted during this time when he was being raised. Maybe he'll ask him next time he comes to visit.
• Once the egg had hatched, Hotline was brought into the world. He was VERY bright, much like Kibbie. Kibbie himself wandered if he had accidentally laid the egg himself or a female he previously paired with dropped her egg off for him to find. The similarities were defiantly there.
• Though Hotline didn't stay similar for too long. In fact, he began to get a lot more blue as time went one. Sure it was only his fins, but it was enough to tell the two apart. That and Hotline's very..loud personality. Which matched his coloring.
• There were times where Kibbie thought that leaving the egg behind might've been a better idea. Hotline was so interested, excited and overall loud about the world around him. He wanted to go everywhere, see everything and see everyone. Though Kibbie wanted to keep to himself and keep collecting. And chasing after a baby Phony was not exactly on his list of things to-do often.
• This often lead to Hotline getting snagged on vines, plants, tripping on logs and branches, getting in water too deep for him, etc. Lots of bruises and scrapes, but he took it like a true champ. It never stopped him. Crying for a second and then the next he was up and ready to go.
• This sort of behavior he never grew out of, but Hotline became more considerate of Kibbie's feelings and things he wanted to do. Though sometimes he had to also get Kibbie to do things he wanted to as well.
• Once Hotline fully grew, Kibbie started wandering further and further from him in order to let him know that he can go do whatever he wants now. He could go and explore the world now without Kibbie having to look over his shoulder all the time. But the world is so large and open, Hotline isn't ready to do that just yet. So instead, Hotline sticks close to Kibbie for the time being. And deep down Kibbie doesn't mind it.

🔴Zenith

• Finds him very irritating.
• He encountered Zenith while visiting the Brine. Kibbie knew he would stubble upon someone at some point, but he didn't think they'd be this..stubborn or irritating. Zenith tried to convince him that the gourd, that he had been looking after for several hours now, was his. It..didn't work, obviously. Eventually he hopped on top of the thing to try and claim it.
• This didn't work either. Kibbie, being 10x his size, pick him up by the rear fin and gently tossed him into the nearest puddle of brine.

🟢Blossom

Raising Blossom

• Raising Blossom was relatively easy compared to raising Hotline, whom would become Blossom's older brother. At the time, Kibbie still carried the feeling of responsible for eggs he was currently coming across in the Brine. Perhaps things would be different with this egg. Well, thankfully things were! For the most part.
• Blossom hatched to be very docile and quiet at first, total opposite of Hotline. They stayed close to Kibbie, much like Hotline did, but didn't make a fuss about it. Instead they sorta followed him around quietly. When Blossom ended up noticing the large difference in color between the two, she couldn't help but be curious about her origins. Kibbie could've lied, but he didn't, instead he told her that he just ended up finding an egg in his travels, and it turned out to hatch into her.
• She was very surprised to hear that he'd taken her in, which seemed to boost her talkativeness by a lot. After that she became a lot more chipper and chatty, a little to his dismay. Though Blossom was far less irritating about it. Instead, what was the most irritating about rising two little phonies, was the fact that Blossom and Hotline irritated one another, rather than just Kibbie. Nothing truly harmful came of it, but Hotline was the main instigator for all the scuffles and playfulness that sometimes got taken too far. The two would go back and forth a lot, which meant Kibbie had to step in and temporarily separate them. But it wasn't long until they were both at it again.
• There was a lot of sleepless nights .
